Tim and his Mentor Joachim (and father) 2007 in Cartagena, where Tim finished 7th
Rebuilding after Season 2008

History of JT Racing Team

JT Racing starts 2006. In the beginning they sell quads by german brand called E-ATV. Very quickly they find out that Tim "Maddix" Mahr has talent for quad riding.

He get an E-ATV 525 from his dad and he start training. After 6 month training he was ready for his first race. That was a national Super- Track Race (80% Off Road + 20% Asphalt). There he finished at 4th position.

About this success he was spotted for his first season of Superquad racing which starts in May 2007. In this challenge the riders are using special prepared quads (flat, wide and with road tyres). The tracks (most karting tracks) had 80% asphalt part and 20% off road part.

In his first year Tim learned a lot about motorsport and the difference between success and disapoinment.

His mentor (and dad) Joachim stays always with him and was helping him with his own motorsport experiences.  He pushed Tim step by step to more success. By the end of the 2007 season Tim finish at 7th position in the challenge and everyone can see that he was getting faster. He was not far from his first podium.

In 2008 starts the first official Superquad Championship "Copa de Espana de Super Quad" (CESQ). The challenge starts with the help of the national Motorsport Federation (RFME). With his victory by the first race Tim was prepared to win the championship because he finished most of the races at the podium. At least he was in front with 37 points and he won the first spanish Superquad Championship. He was the first Superquad Champion of the spanish Motorsport Federation (RFME) and the only foreigner in the Challenge.

For the year 2009 and 2010 the team was not able to find enough sponsors for all team costes. There was no way for racing in both years. But the team manager (Joachim) never gives up and he found some sponsores for the 2011 season. Tim starts gym training with his personal coach Frank to be prepared for the coming season.  He was motivated to celebrate his come back. With a professional video story (not on the website) the team documents his class. You can see the professional made video on youtube. In March 2011 Tim went to Germany for education. He lives there and feels well. His comeback is canceled. We are very sad about this but we all wish him good luck for the future.

For 2011 Tim´s dad Joachim is riding in Superquad. It will be his first season. We will see what he can do in the International Superquad Championship.
